I've got something to say. And it may be hard to hear.

To all you good parents out there:

Hey.

Hey, you.

You remember how I wrote about mamas being nice to other mamas and not to judge and to remember that you're a good mama and all that other stuff?  Right here?

Everyone's doing it.  You can read about it everywhere.

And I'm sick of it.

If you have good intentions and your kid's teeth aren't rotting, you're a good parent.
If you love your child, even if he's an incessant little prick, you're a good parent.
If you decide formula or boob milk, if you choose home daycare or a center, if you feed them organic or Spam, if you believe in chicken pox parties or Pinterest, whatever, you're a good parent.
If you love them a teensy bit more when you're away from them, even then, you're a good parent.

Any parent worth their salt has guilt.  Everyone does.  It's normal.
You're not being persecuted anymore for your choices.  You know why?  Because people don't give a rat's ass.
If they do, instantly forget about them.  They don't matter.

You're all doing a good job.*
Yes, parenthood is hard.  Everyone agrees.
Now get back in the game and show your kid how not to whine.  Because the world needs less whiners.

Kisses and hugs.

*Unless, of course, you're a bad parent - then maybe you should seek some help.
