This Week in the 'Ridge...
Dear Oliver:
You have thrush since getting off your antibiotic last week.
Your dad has double fungal ear infections.
Mama has a sinus infection.
The bedbug guy says that while the bugs are probably gone, he wants to make sure and do a third spray.
The house is still not back together from the first or second sprays.
On the plus side:
You said your first word, "book," at daycare!
Hanene: "Oliver, are you reading a book?"
Oliver: "Book!"
Hanene: "Book?!?!"
Oliver: "Book."
Then, later, I got to hear it three more times. Your daddy hasn't heard it yet, but he does think he heard you say "baby" while looking through some books!
You've learned how to turn off lights and are figuring out how to flip them on. You're getting close!
You are starting to get a little obstinate - you arch your back whenever we try to change you and bang your body back when you don't get your way. As it's still new, we haven't yet learned to anticipate this which has resulted in a few head bonks on your end.
You're starting to scooch your belly around so you can get down from furniture and land on your feet. This is highly favorable, since until now you've just been trying to get down from furniture head first.
I love you.
